Welcome to KB Skulls!

I want to introduce myself. My name is Kirsten Liebendorfer.  I moved to Carson City in 1987 with my family.  I moved away after I graduated from Carson High School, but I ended up back home in Carson City in 2006.  I am a "born-again" hunter.  My boyfriend, Brandt, who is a life-long hunter, introduced me to the wonder of hunting large game last fall when I accompanied him on his cow elk hunt in the Table Mountain Wilderness area.  What a spiritually intense and sensory-overload experience!  This October I get to experience my first hunt with my own cow elk tag.  I am beyond excited.,

Brandt and I live our life to be as self-sufficient as possible while living in town.  We have raised a steer, pigs, and chickens.  We currently own a goat.  We love the outdoors and wish we had more time to spend there.  Hunting goes hand in hand with that, giving us the opportunity to reconnect with nature's beauty and provide fresh food for our children.

Taxidermy has always intrigued me, but I always thought it was something other people did.  I became fascinated with the simple beauty of European mounts and decided to start raising a dermestid beetles colony.

I want to provide my customers with a beautiful way to remember their own hunt.  I can't wait for you to share your stories of a cold fall or winter morning before dawn waking up to beat the sun and stalk a herd of deer or elk.  Or sweating through archery season to get that sweet shot you'd been honing your skills for.  The story behind the mount will always be something to remember, to share with family and friends, and to pass on to your children. I want to provide you with a mount that you will be proud of and will give the proper visual as your tell your loved ones your story.

I look forward to you trusting in me to preserve your memories to last a lifetime.  Please contact me for options and pricing.
